
If you’re like me, you grew up on the jellied can of cranberry, sliced on a dish gracing your holiday table. And you will still find that long plate of cranberry on my table, because…it’s tradition.
But guess what? There are tons of other ways to get your fill of cranberry this holiday season!

Easy Cranberry Sauce
Equipment
- sauce pan
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 12 oz whole cranberries
- 1 whole orange for zest & juicing
Instructions
- Rinse your cranberries, picking out any bad ones
- Add sugar and water to pot and boil
- stir to dissolve sugar
- Add cranberries, reduce heat to simmer, approximately 10 minutes or until berries burst.
- Add your orange zest to taste
- *optional replace half the water in step one with orange juice
- remove from heat, let stand until at room temperature, then chill. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
